Ed Fleming is currently owner of Fleming Instrument Repair in Houston Texas. In 1977, he received his Bachelor of Music degree from Eastern Illinois University. As a saxophone major, he split his playing time between the classical and jazz styles.

After teaching music and band at the high school level, Ed then discovered that repairing instruments was his professional calling. He graduated from Allied School of Instrument Repair in Wisconsin and has been repairing woodwinds and brass for top professionals, students and schools here in Texas since 1980.

Ed still plays sax in various groups in the Houston area. Along the way, Ed has become an avid bicyclist, where he rides and races Ultra Marathon distances. He also has three musically talented teenage children, Lindsey, Jessica and Connor.
