Here is a rare breed of horn that is not often seen in the instrument world.
This Silver Plated Low A Vito Baritone Saxophone is a "Jazz Special" Model with a serial number #18XXX, therefore making it a French Beaugnier production horn. Vito saxophones saw their first production in Beaugnier where these instruments were often sent over as U.S. exports.
*This Vito is not to be confused with the later Yanagisawa or Yamaha production Vitos.*
This pre owned bari sax is being sold AS-IS. The back of the instrument has a very faint engraving that reads, "Jazz Special." The bottom bow is on the shorter side, therefore the body to bell gap is a tad smaller than most traditional baritone saxophones.
