Benge 165F Tenor Trombone

The Benge 165F Tenor Trombone is the perfect trombone for the musician looking for a large-bore F-attachment horn. The Benge 165F was produced in the 1980s to directly rival the Conn 88h, and is said to have a darker sound than its direct competitor. The horn can shine in nearly all musical situations, and the mix of the traditional wrap with the large bore diameter (.547) creates a harmonic response reminiscent of a smaller-bore trombone. In short, this trombone is amazingly easy to control while still projecting a dark, big and rich sound! The horn has gone through our shop and has been put into peak playing condition and has no signs of major damage. It does have some minor scratches on the bell and slides from regular wear, but nothing that affects the tone of the trombone.
